5.  Kenny Chesney & Grace Potter “You And Tequila”

You may not know who [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Grace Potter[/lastfm] is but after watching this video with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kenny Chesney[/lastfm], you can’t help but fall in love.  She fronts a talented rock band called [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Grace Potter & The Nocturnals[/lastfm] but fits so well with Kenny’s voice, you almost think she’s country.

In a boy-meet-girl, love/hate relationship song, both Chesney and Potter sing about their love of each other and tequila, citing that both are still poisonous and damaging.

“Thirty days and thirty nights / Been puttin’ up a real good fight / And there were times I thought you’d win / It’s so easy to forget /  The bitter taste the mornin’ left / Swore I wouldn’t go back there again”

1. Brad Paisley ft. Carrie Underwood “Remind Me”

What better way to assure a major country hit than featuring two of the biggest names in country music on one song.  [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Brad Paisley[/lastfm]’s third single from his “This Is Country Music” album features the smooth vocal stylings of [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Carrie Underwood[/lastfm].

The song speaks of that moment in a relationship when things start to turn just a little bit stale and you’re left just reminiscing on how things were in the past.  “Remind Me” is the perfect song to remind ourselves how beautiful relationships are and the nurture those moments that can impact you for life.

“Do you remember the way it felt / You mean back when we couldn’t control ourselves / Remind me, remind me”
